Welsh Mums In Business is a friendly and informal networking group for women and mums in business in South Wales.
The network was started to help women who work for themselves at home, to meet regularly to enable effective business support and networking.
Emma Evans started the network, in 2009 as she felt she couldn’t attend the usual breakfast or evening networking meetings having a small baby at home and school age children. WMIB is focused on making the process of business networking accessible to business owners who also have a family life. WMIB help women get back in the business driving seat having stayed at home as a mum, encouraging and supporting new business ideas.
Welsh Mums In Business meet every six weeks in a venue that is child friendly yet still professional. Most meetings there will be a guest speaker advising on business issues and business workshops on topics such as personal development, IT and Social Media. Each meeting there is always lots of trouble shooting going on, a business challenge for a sole trader can sometimes be frustrating with no one but yourself to solve the problem.
So if you’re an entrepreneurial woman in business or thinking of starting up on your own after having children, and you don’t know where to start get in touch and let Welsh Mums In Business offer advice and support to help your business flourish!
