Emma started the Welsh Mums In Business networking group, in 2009 as she felt she couldn’t attend the usual breakfast or evening networking meetings having a small baby at home and school age children. She saw a niche in the market and decided to establish Welsh Mums In Business offering advice and support for loal like minded mums.
Along with the networking group and being a mum to her three children, Emma is a successful entrepreneur and owns Appletree Catering Company offering her catering services for corporate events and celebrations, her personal chef service called Book a Cook and she hosts The Secret Supper Clwb, fun, interesting and unusual events, all based around food!
Appletree has been satisfying the hunger of countless customers across South Wales, including HRH Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex.
Emma’s forte is business mentoring, the main reason why she created Welsh Women In Business is to provide support and advice to women who are going through the same challenges as she did. Each meeting there is always lots of trouble shooting going on, Emma attempts to solve any business challenge, as for a sole trader it can sometimes be frustrating with no one but yourself to solve the problem.
